Farm 2 Table 5k
Looking for a race that combines two of your favorite things? Foodies and runners alike will want to check out the 2nd Annual Farm 2 Table 5k!
For the 2nd year the Asheville Track Club is presenting this event to highlight local businesses and charities supporting the Farm to Table movement with fresh food and fitness. Asheville’s infamously unique food combined with a newly mapped 5k course creates a recipe of fun and enjoyment for runners of all levels and their families.
Runners will find that the course offers great scenery on the beautiful campus of Eliada Children’s Home in West Asheville. Be prepared for an entertaining route that will provide a mixture of road running and light trail running. Each participant has the option to receive a race t-shirt upon registration.
Thomas Wolfe 8k
The Thomas Wolfe 8K is Asheville's oldest and most prestigious running event. First run in 1976, the run will celebrate it's 39th year in 2015! This beautiful autumn run/walk highlights many of Asheville's historic sites! Start at the Thomas Wolfe House and run past his final resting place. Come on out and see why this race has become a deeply rooted Asheville tradition.
