2023/24 Hilly Classic Series

The Hilly Classic Series is comprised of six events running predominantly on a Sunday morning from late-November 2023 through to early April 2024 hosted in the beautiful Perth Hills at Gidgegannup A, Chidlow B, Chidlow Wundowie, Chidlow C, Wooroloo and Gidgegannup, with the first rider usually starting at 07:30. Some of these courses will not be around much longer, so we are looking to make the most of them while we still have access to them.

Riders are invited to choose from either a time trial or road bike category, with each event comprising of various distances between 17km and 44km depending on the course, which are all fully open to vehicles for the duration of the event. The entire seven race series can be entered as a whole, or as individual events, depending on your schedule.

With live results being available through WebScorer, it is a great opportunity to bring your mates and race it out for bragging rights before grabbing a coffee locally at Cafe Chidlow or the Gidgegannup Bakery & Cafe before enjoying the rest of the weekend. Registration locations are the Gidgegannup Primary School, the Chidlow Hall or the Ron Evans Park which all have extensive parking and toilet facilities.

Of course, we can’t run these events unless we have volunteers, so if you know somebody who can donate their time, please guide them to the ATTA website (https://www.atta.asn.au/events), choose the corresponding event and look for the text “To volunteer for this event click HERE.” and click the link which will create a proforma email to send to us.

Being an ATTA 2023/24 Member entitles you to a $10 discount on race entry fees for each event, so if you wish to become at ATTA Member, or you need to renew your ATTA Membership, you can do so HERE.
