5K Run, Walk, Roll, or Pole on the Runway

RAIN OR SHINE EVENTS

Jordan’s Run the Runway, presented by Siskinds, is a one-of-a-kind 5K run, walk, roll, or pole that began in 2014 and has grown every year since! It is now a SERIES offered at four airport locations across Southwestern Ontario.

Jordan Run the Runway events honour the life and legacy of Jordan Strickland, whose passion for YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth (CQE) and dedication to fostering community have inspired this incredible annual fundraiser.

About Jordan Strickland
Jordan loved new adventures, and he was not afraid to try anything. One of the things he loved most in life was going to CQE on Beausoleil Island, where he spent many summers as a camper and later dedicated nine years as a volunteer counselor. At CQE, Jordan found a place where everyone belonged. The Y’s inclusive philosophy ensured that all campers—regardless of physical or other challenges—could experience the same friendship, adventure, and personal growth with the support they needed to thrive. Jordan’s Run the Runway was created to honour his legacy by helping more youth and families access YMCA programs, ensuring they have the same opportunities to grow, connect, and explore - just like he did at camp.
