Lots of people want to attend so we have a Party Only option this year, and this includes the famous GTR Goodie Bags, the post run/walk after party with food, drinks and entertainment. Can't make it in person on September 18th? No worries, you and your office mates can run or walk anywhere you are outside the GTA, or Ontario. We have more details on the website but you can now stay connected to the Fun, Fundraising and Fitness by organizing your own team to Run or Walk 5k in one of three ways. Participate at the exact same time as everyone else, on the same day at lunch or in the window of Sept 14th - 30th by choosing a 5k run or walk event in your home town!

Prizing

Competitive Teams will be still composed of 4, either all-male, all-female or mixed (2 and 2) but you can also just bring One Megateam and compete for special prizes in the non-competitive categories. Biggest Team. Best Team Spirit. Biggest Fundraising Team. Most Honest Team (!).

Virtual Runners won't be missing out on the fun! They will still be eligible for top fundraiser, top fundraising team and fastest virtual team.

Teams

COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Each team must register four team members. ALL four must finish to score officially, and you can make late, last minute changes on site if someone gets sick, injured or you hired a former Olympian at the last moment to pad the team! (don't laugh, in the 1980's this happened at the old event).......

There are three competitive team categories:

- All-male

- All-female

- Coed (2 males and 2 females)

(IF a team of Three Men and One Woman is entered it's considered a Male Team)

NON-COMPETITIVE TEAMS

Bring one megateam and compete for special prizes in the following non-competitive categories:

- Biggest Team

- Best Team Spirit

- Biggest Fundraising Team.

Larger companies can enter as many 4-person teams as they want.
