Together we can make a difference! The St.Vincent Cancer Walk has raised 1.7 million dollars to support patients and families facing cancer at St.Vincent. 100% of all funds raised by participants has helped inspire hope through the following programs and services:
Funds helped purchase digital Tomosynthesis, a revolutionary 3D diagnostic imaging technology that can detect breast cancer earlier and help save lives.
Art Therapy is available to those being treated inpatient or in the outpatients setting, as well as survivors. Everyone is welcome to spend some time with our artist in residence, Joani Rothenburg, and experience the therapeutic benefits of expressing your emotions through art.
In 2014, St.Vincent added a second mobile screening van allowing us to double the number of people who have access to free or low cost screenings, and the convenience of receiving those screenings right at their place of employment, or even in their own neighborhood.
Congratulations to all the St.Vincent Cancer Challenge sponsors, participants, donors and supporters. Your dollars are already at work impacting the lives of those facing cancer!
