Orlando Books Collective Entrance Award Endowment

Last year we raised $8,100 for the Orlando Books Collective Entrance Award Endowment at the University of Alberta.  This year we're hoping to increase that number to $10,000.

The Orlando Books Collective Entrance Award is awarded to students entering their first year at the University of Alberta in any undergraduate degree program. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement in school and community activities. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated commitment to the advancement of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-identified, two-spirited, or queer communities.

The University of Alberta will issue tax receipts for all donations.

Personal information is collected under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be protected under Part 2 of that Act. It will be used for the purpose of alumni engagement and philanthropic activities.
