My Story…
Many of you know that I have set a goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. In order to accomplish this goal, I have to run several (possibly many) marathons in an attempt to achieve the required finish time (3:40:00). Rather than simply running these races with only my goal in mind, I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the cause that is closest to my heart. Loving and caring for vulnerable children, especially those who have been orphaned, is my 'why', my driving force, and the cause for which I work. For this mission, I will run miles, raise funds, and give all that I can to serve the 153 million orphans worldwide and ensure they are safe, loved, and have the opportunity to thrive. I ask only that you join me, whether through prayer, giving (every little bit helps), or by racing for another. Together, we can make a difference.
