Help Karen raise money

For participating in Miles for Migraine Race - Philadelphia, 2017

My Story…

Migraine is not “just a headache”. Migraine is the 3rd most prevalent and 6th most disabling disease in the world. In the United States, more than 37 million people suffer from migraine. It is a serious neurological disease. Unfortunately, I can tell you from personal experience that migraine profoundly impacts a person’s life, self-esteem, family and livelihood. I have suffered from severe migraines for over 35 years. I get at least a dozen a month. Migraine is a neurological disorder and migraine attacks are terribly painful and often disabling. Sadly, though, migraine is frequently dismissed as “just a headache” and migraineurs are told to take an aspirin and get over it. Partly because migraine is perceived as “just a headache,” people with migraine face a huge stigma in addition to having disabling symptoms. Please support me as I walk for migraine research. Every small donation helps.
