Help us raise money

As a group of women, we will be participating in the P4L (Patrick4Life) Marathon in North Bay on June 4th. The funds are raised in memory of Patrick Fortin who passed away at the very young age of 23 due to tainted HIV/AIDS during his treatment for Hemophilia A. Patrick's wishes are Zero AIDS. Hemophilia is a hereditary condition; both Hemophilia A and B are rare disorders. 1 in 10,000 people or about 2,500 Canadians. Hemophilia B is even less common, affecting approx 1 in 50,000 people or about 600 Canadians. Without proper treatment, hemophilia is crippling and often fatal. With modern treatment, most people with hemophilia can lead a full and active lives. Please help us raise money for P4L, any amount is greatly appreciated. Tax receipts will be issued for donations $10 and over.
