The University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus will once again host The UWI SPEC International Half Marathon on Sunday 29 October 2017. The First Citizens Bank is the main sponsor of The UWI SPEC International Half Marathon.
The UWI SPEC International Half Marathon will commence in front of UWI SPEC Building from 5:30 a.m. along the 13.1 mile route and onto the traffic-free Priority Bus Route (PBR) to the La Resource Junction D’Abadie, before doubling back to The UWI SPEC.
The course will be completed with markers and water stations at every mile for the running convenience of the athletes from the Caribbean, USA, Latin America, Africa and Europe.

Half Marathon Route
The UWI Half Marathon will be staged on a 13.1 mile course, certified by the IAAF. The race will begin The UWI Sport and Physical Education Centre in St. Augustine, continue along the secured, traffic free, Priority Bus Route in East Trinidad and return to the University of The West Indies in St. Augustine.
