2018 Racing Hearts 5k/10k

Join us on Sunday, March 18th for our 5th Annual community event. We are excited to celebrate active living, heart wellness and heart safety, and helping to place more AEDs in our community. Get educated and come join the fun! There are three ways to participate:

1. Virtual 5K/10K Race: For our 2018 event we are partnering with the City of Palo Alto to produce a virtual walk/run, and we're challenging you to complete a 5K or 10K at your favorite route location. You pick where and when, just complete your race anytime before March 18! All registered race participants will receive a long sleeve groovy tech shirt, and the first 400 registrants will receive a race medal. Completing the Racing Hearts 5k/10k also counts toward the Run Palo Alto Challenge.(*)

2. Strava Challenge: We are complementing the race with an optional FREE Strava Challenge.  Compare yourself against others using Strava and enter for the chance at prizes! The Strava Challenge can be completed between March 1 - March 18.  For more information about our Challenge, click here.  For step by step instructions on how to download Strava, click here

3. Family Wellness Festival: Come join us Sunday, March 18th (2-4 pm) at King Plaza in downtown Palo Alto (City Hall) where we'll be handing out goodies and prizes to our 5K/10K race and challenge participants. We will have Sudden Cardiac Arrest survivors along with other heart warriors in our community joining us.  If you can't make it to our festival, we would be happy to mail you your t-shirt, medal, or any fundraising prizes!

(*) Participation in all three Palo Alto spring races (Juana Run in Feb, Racing Hearts in March, and Great Race for Saving Water in April) will enter you in a drawing for a free new pair of running shoes (up to $150) provided by our partners at Fleet Feet Menlo Park

Please note: While there are no refunds, our team would be happy to transfer your registration to another participant.
