Our Houses provide a home away from home for families with children receiving vital medical treatment in Calgary and Red Deer. Most importantly, our warm, welcoming and affordable accommodations help ease the heavy financial and emotional burdens placed on the hundreds of families who come through our doors each year.
Ta communal kitchen, play areas for children, home-style living rooms and programming for all ages facilitated by our Family Services team. Most importantly, it provides a comfortable place for families to sleep, eat a warm homemade meal and connect with other families going through similar experiences. Our nightly fee is just $12, which makes staying at the House an affordable option for all families needing to be close to their sick children. More than 21,000 families have stayed at the House since opening in 1985.
