Supporting St. Vincent
Use of Funds
Each year, more than 30,000 Hoosiers are diagnosed with cancer. Proceeds from this event will benefit St. Vincent Cancer Care and support those in our community who have been affected by cancer.
100% of all funds raised by participants makes a difference for those facing cancer by making these programs and services possible:
- Digital Tomosynthesis: This revolutionary 3D diagnostic imaging technology can detect breast cancer earlier and help save lives.
- Art Therapy: Art therapy is available to those being treated as inpatients or in the outpatients setting, as well as survivors.
- Mobile Screening Van: A second mobile screening van now is available, allowing us to double the number of people who have access to free or low cost screenings.
- ….and more!

Team Captains
Team Captains:
You've got your team and your sneakers ready to go. Now what? GET YOUR TEAM MOVING! Below, please find some quick tips to help motivate your team and get everyone excited for the Cancer Challenge!
- Set a Team Goal. Setting a team goal is the first step to success and helps get everyone rallied around a common purpose. Make sure that everyone on your team knows what the team goal is and how they can contribute to helping achieve it.
- Send emails to your team. This not only helps you track how your teammates are doing on their fundraising goals but you can also share encouragement, news and plan fundraising events to help your team reach (or exceed) your goal.
- Get social. Encourage your teammates to post updates and ask for support on Facebook and other social media sites. Be sure they're sharing statuses and raising awareness of team fundraising activities!
