My Story…
Hi everyone! June is Migraine Awareness month and I’ve decided to participate in a fundraiser to help raise awareness and a little money for migraine research! I’ve been a migraine sufferer for around 6 years but have been diagnosed with chronic daily migraine for the past three. This neurological disease forced me to put my life on hold and focus on my health, but with treatment options sporting unusually low success rates with high rates of negative side effects it’s hard not to get discouraged. Instead of sitting idly, I’ve decided to join others in walking throughout the month of June for Miles for Migraines to hopefully help us get one step closer to understanding migraine and finding a cure!
