Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc.

In operation since 1997, the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc is a charitable organization offering counseling and support to those experiencing emotional difficulties as well as victims of family violence and sexual assault along with their children in South-East New Brunswick. The Centre provides immediate services on a 24/7 basis to a large geographical region, servicing a total population of over 250,000. 

Since 2013, men and boys from our communities have walked a mile in red high heeled shoes in order to support a critical capital project to build a new Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre. The first of its kind in the province, this new facility will offer innovative housing and support services for victims, their families, as well as those with mental illness. The Courage campaign has a goal of $3.9 million. 

"We have come a long way with the support of these men and boys and their supporters, but we have a long way to go. Without funds from Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Beausejour, we simply would not be as far along as we are with this build. Each of you are making a lasting impact and you should be very proud. I know I am." says, Kristal LeBlanc, Executive Director.
