The Cambridge YMCA is so much more then the bricks and mortar that you see at 250 Hespeler Road. We are the longest standing charity in the region, rooted on Cambridge soil for 160 years. We have been responding to the needs of our community ever since. In Cambridge, we are the largest provider of Child Care, we have the only no-cost, inclusive, Teen Drop-In program impacting three areas affecting this generation’s youth: Education, Employability, Health and Well-being, and proudly we are the first space to provide alternative suspension in the province, bridging a current gap in our education system.

Why this year matters more than it has before

We have set an important goal, in response to our community’s need, and we need your help. Youth in our community need our help. We know that kids thrive when they feel connected, have equal opportunities and positive role models guiding them in the right direction. To start changing the odds for the next generation, we need the support of this generation. We have a fundraising goal of $20,000, and is not an arbitrary number. $20,000 to our organization means 100 more youth in Cambridge will have access to our programs and facility. What could be a greater gift to provide this holiday season than the gift of our kids’ potential?
