Join us for the 2nd annual Stride Inside Indoor Track Race at the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre in Guelph, ON. The race takes place on a 215m track and will allows runners to escape the frigid temperaturs and poor running conditions of January in Southern Ontario and run around in circles with a great group of like-minded runners. The track is a beautiful, 4 lane rubberized track. The race will once again be in support of Women's Shelters Canada. Want to race for free? Participants that raise $150 or more in pledges will receive a full refund of their race entrance fee.
Participants will receive a custom racing tank and a finisher's medal. There will also be awards for the top 3 male/female in each of the different races. Awards will take place within 15 minutes of the completion of each event.
There is free on-site parking, a change room with showers, and an aid station with water, an electrolyte drink, and a variety of snacks.
We will be using our re-usable EcoCups at Stride Inside. They can be washed, sterilized, and re-used over 100 times and then recycled. We are grateful to our sponsor, DKOS (www.DKOS.ca), for helping us make this green initiative possible. They are made of rigid plastic and you throw them in the receptacle after using them, just like you would with a disposable cup. We will collect them, wash and sterilize them, and re-use them at our next event.
Last year, due to the very limited number of spots available, this race sold out quickly. Once the race sells out, we will once again have a wait list.
