The BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of BC Cancer. We believe that together, BC CAN breakdown cancer.
100% of the funds donated to the BC Cancer Foundation through the TC 10K this year, will be designated to the Carol Lalonde/Marlene Palmer Ovarian Research Fund which supports ovarian cancer research happening at BC Cancer – Victoria, in particular the TIL (tumour infiltrating lymphocytes) trial which will seek to isolate cells from reproductive (ovarian, cervical and endometrial) tumours and target them with Adoptive T Cell Therapy, one of the most promising forms of immunotherapy https://bccancerfoundation.com/why-give/research/immunotherapy .
