Help Kathryn raise money

This year I will be participating in the Queen City Marathon weekend as part of a Full Marathon Relay Team. I have decided that I will be fundraising for Special Olympics Saskatchewan as part of my entry this year! Sports have been such a huge part of my life and I can’t imagine not being able to pay on an even playing field with my teammates and/or opponents. I worked with the Special Olympics skating program in Calgary during University and loved to see the joy the participants got from Skating. It is the same joy I experienced from the Sport because in these types of interactions we truly are all equal. I can't help but wonder though that if they were forced to participate without Special Olympics assistance if they would truly feel the same joy. Would it be more difficult? Less fun? or just down right scary! My nephew has entered SP Sask programs in Estevan over the past few months and he loves them! I want to make sure there is always funding for him to play!
