Hospice Hawaii

Founded in 1979, Hospice Hawaii provides quality end-of-life care to patients facing a life-limiting illness and compassionate support for their families. We provide high-quality, compassionate care and physical and emotional support so patients and families can concentrate on living each day to the fullest.  The mission of Hospice Hawaii is to bring hope, reduce fears and impact lives.

Because each person's end-of-life journey is unique, we assemble a care team based on the patient's individual needs and choices. Our goal is to provide relief from pain during the last months of life in the comfort of the patient's home, at our Hospice Hawaii Kailua Home, or other chosen setting. We provide pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, allowing people to live more fully with clarity. We also provide assistance with personal hygiene and ordering medical equipment and supplies to provide comfort and ease of care at home. Complementary therapies such as massage therapy, art therapy, pet therapy, aromatherapy, and therapeutic music, are available to all our patients and their families. Hospice Hawaii also offers the only dedicated pediatric hospice care program in the state.
