We are very lucky to have this one of a kind art, artistic piece quilt made by Bonnie Bucknam. Not only is Bonnie a famous quilter (see her stats below) she is the aunt of one of our survivors, Jolene Holmstrand. For every $10 donation, you can have a chance to own this gorgeous piece. This quilt is valued at $2,000. The proceeds will go to SCAD Research, Inc for the most important research SCAD Research at the Mayo Clinic. Bonnie's abstract compositions are inspired by the colors and shapes of the natural world. Bonnie’s quilt “Crater” won Best of Show at Quilt National 2011. She has also exhibited in Visions San Diego, Quilts=Art=Quilts at the Schweinfurth, and numerous times in the biennial Earth, Fire, and Fibre exhibit at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. Bonnie was part of the solo artist series at the Anchorage Museum in 1995, in Quilts: Stitching a New Tradition. Internationally, Bonnie’s work has appeared across Europe.
