Dystonia is a neurological movement condition that impacts 250,000 people in North America. There is currently no cure, and very little awareness or support. Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) Canada is the only organization that is dedicated to supporting patients and families impacted by dystonia in Canada. Its mission is to advance research for more treatments and ultimately a cure; to promote awareness and education; and to support the needs and well being of affected individuals and families.
