The Second Annual MR8K: A Run For Gratitude
I am running my second MR8K. This year I wanted to join Team MR8 to raise money. I wanted to run because I like to run and MR8 supports the community. I have been inspired by people I know who ran the marathon for MR8 and an 8K seems like the right distance for a 10 year old. The money I raise will support Challenger baseball and basketball, Martin's Park, YES, One Boston Day and other projects. For example the MR8 Bridge Builder grant let my school do service projects on our CommUNITY Day. I like being a part of One Boston Day and doing different projects to clean up the community and painting the peace banner. Thank you for supporting me and MR8.
