Gobble Wobble 8K and 5K Run/Walk

The Junior Welfare League of York County

The Junior Welfare League of York County is excited to host the
9th Annual Gobble Wobble Walk/Run.

We hope to continue to build on the success of the last 8 years of this race, with a goal of raising $65,000 for The Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation's Back the Pack Program and Project Hope.

These two amazing agencies are focused on reducing the hunger crisis within our community. Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation's Back the Pack Program provides a bag full of food to students in need on Friday afternoons, ensuring that the students will have access to nourishing meals over the weekend and are able to come to school ready to learn each Monday morning.




Project Hope provides crisis assistance in the form of 4.5 TONS of food WEEKLY, life-saving medicine, and utility payments to families in need. Individuals requesting food from Project Hope are given a full week's worth of food based upon family size and the ages of family members.

Registration Policies

  • Last day to register and receive a guaranteed specific t-shirt size for the race is October 31, 2019.
  • If you register after 10/31/2019, you will receive a t-shirt at packet pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you wish to register at packet pickup or onsite the morning of the race, a kiosk will be available. Please note the price increase as listed above.
  • There will be no refunds for this race. Registration fees are non refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God."
  • Entries are non transferable.
  • Participants must present a photo ID and sign a release-from-liability waiver.
  • Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.
