THANKSGIVING TRADITION

Come run the Turkey Trot for Hope certified 5k race and 1 mile Gobble Wobble fun run with us on Thanksgiving Day! We invite you to join us for a Mobile tradition. It is a chance to kick the day off with a little turkey spirit, gather with your family and to burn those extra calories in preparation for the impending feast. Most importantly, it is an opportunity to give thanks by giving back to a great cause, Camp Rap-A-Hope.

Camp Rap-A-Hope has been serving children on the Gulf Coast for over thirty years. Children facing cancer are able to experience a week of "just being a kid" for FREE (because cancer costs enough). In addition, children and their families are able to participate in a variety of activities throughout the year that include Deep Sea Fishing, Teen Weekend, Sibling Weekend, Family Fun Day, Teen Exchange Program, and Hospital Outreach. Camp is only possible through the generosity of sponsors, the dedication of volunteers and through fundraisers like the Turkey Trot for Hope & Gobble Wobble.

Turkey Trot for Hope Details

Race day registration will be available at Mardi Gras Park from 6:15-7:30am

Early packet pickup and late registration will be available Wednesday, November 27 at the Camp Rap-A-Hope Office located at 2701 Airport Blvd. Mobile, AL 36606 from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Distance: Certified 5K course (certification number pending). Fun Run is less than a mile.

Awards: Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters and top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99.

Special Awards: Awards will be given to the teams with the most participants, the best Thanksgiving costume, and the fastest turkey.
