Thank you so much for your generous donation, and your implicit endorsement that I can, in fact, run ten kilometres. Camp Misquah is a residential camping experience for adults and youth with developmental disabilities but it is so much more. Camp Misquah and this race hold such a special place in my heart. Over the past few years, I've seen the funds raised at Ottawa Race Weekend make a tangible impact on both the physical and emotional state of the camp. On the physical side, shiny new cabins, accessible washrooms, ramps and walkways mean that anyone can attend camp. On the emotional side, these funds send a message to campers and their loved ones that the programs that support them are worth investing in.
