Andrew Jackson Marathon & Half Marathon

this year, you can RUN TENNESSEE’S OLDEST MARATHON anywhere! it's been RUNNING SINCE 1972 so help us continue TO keep it up - virtually!

The 48th running of the RunAJM Jackson Andrew Jackson Marathon will go on but will be held as a VIRTUAL race, the first time in its 48 year history! While we'd love to host the race as normal, maintaining the safety and health of all participants, volunteers and spectators in this group setting would be a logistics challenge. The committee feels that due to this and the increasing positive numbers, it's in everyone's best interest to host the first ever virtual Run AJM Andrew Jackson Marathon!!

  • RACE DATE: Anytime 12am September 7, 2020 - 11:59pm September 14, 2020
  • RACE LOCATION: Anywhere you choose
  • PLEASE NOTE: Deferral period has ended

Virtual Race Results Upload


Completed your race and need to upload your results? Here's how:

  • Click 2020 Virtual Race Results
  • Click "Submit a Virtual Result" and enter your confirmation number or RaceRoster login. Make sure the correct race distance (Marathon or Half Marathon) option is chosen.
  • Enter your time in hours;minutes;seconds and upload your photo proof of timing.
  • All results/photo proof of timing must be uploaded before 11:59pm September 14th
  • 2020 Virtual Race Results page can also be accessed by clicking the Results link in the menu

Virtual Race Information


Race Date: Anytime between 12am September 7, 2020 and 11:59pm September 14, 2020 continuously within a six and a half hour time period, on the same day, and not broken up over several days.

  • Time limit: 6.5 hours
