Share the Warmth (Québec)

This year, Share the Warmth celebrates its 30th anniversary! Our different programs and initiatives focus predominantly on supporting vulnerable and low-income individuals and families living in Pointe-Saint-Charles, Verdun and the Southwest of Montréal. Joining the Share the Warmth Team will contribute to feeding and supporting people in our community who are going through a hard time. We ensure that everyone has the right and the access to sufficient healthy food, and fresh fruits and vegetables. On average, 1,100 people, 30% of whom are under the age of 18, receive non-perishables at our food bank every month. Close to 300 local children are registered in our youth programs, which include a music program, tutoring and bursaries and the Boîte à Lunch cooking workshops. And about 20 adults acquire work experience through our work-training program each year.
