My Story…
I have been volunteering and raising funds for the MUHC & Royal Victoria Hospital for the last 7 years, this year I am running for a very personal reason. As I write this my mother is preparing for surgery next week at the MUHC. She was very recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Hopefully by the time the run happens this story will have a happy ending! Just knowing that she is being treated at the MUHC by the top doctors in the field, I am comforted and confident that my mom will have the best possible outcome. Thank you all for your support and encouragement!
**Update: My mom is now home after receiving outstanding care by all the Doctors, Nurses and staff who treated her & she is getting stronger every day!
