Our story…

We're running in memory of our good friend Sunny Wong, who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the young age of 42 at Guelph General Hospital after a valiant 6-year battle with cancer. 
 Sunny will be forever fondly remembered for his joyful spirit and the strength of his determination. His countless friends will remember him as a beacon of light, with his trademark smile and contagious laughter that brightened your day. His optimism and positive demeanour truly reflected his namesake. 

Literally up until the week before he had passed, he was still excitedly talking about participating in the 2020 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k - along with a team of friends who were ready to support his hopes by pushing him in a rickshaw. 

We look forward to helping Sunny fulfill one of his last wishes!
