Our story…
The Endless Summer Indoor Fun Walk is a fundraising event for Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre. Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre is the only cancer support centre in Durham Region, and the only one between Toronto and Kingston. It has been caring for families in the community dealing with cancer since 1997. Hearth Place offers a variety of programs for people diagnosed with cancer, including emotional support groups, wellness programs, educational workshops, and support for caregivers, children, and teens. Grief support is available for anyone who has lost a loved one to this disease. The Pediatric Cancer Family Support Program provides support programs for children with cancer, sibling support groups, and monthly family programs.
Programs and services at Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre are offered free of charge and help patients and families look beyond their diagnosis and disease
