Greenbelt Church volunteers are back again in action at this year's Early Bird event, raising funds that support this beautiful, caring charity. Greenbelt volunteers are on the bike and run courses so they can help ‘stay the course’ for local children in need.

Safe Families Ottawa helps provide safe, caring homes for children who are in temporary crisis scenarios. These trained volunteers give families breathing room to deal with situations like homelessness, job loss, incarceration and unexpected medical issues that stop parents or guardians from providing care to their children.
The aim is to provide care for these children until they can be safely reunited with family, instead of having children unnecessarily sent into the foster care system.
