Maitland Woods - Bridge & Boardwalk Repair 

The Maitland Woods is a 3.4km trail located in the south area of Goderich. The trail offers a number of activity options like hiking and birdwatching, and is enjoyed by many local residents and visitors year-round. This trail loops through beautiful mixed deciduous and cedar forest, a cattail marsh, and past several ponds.

Several bridges and boardwalks were installed to make the Maitland Woods easier to navigate, but many of them need to be repaired. With your help we will be able to repair these structures, so we can keep the beautiful Maitland Woods trail open for all!

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for these repairs.

We are an entirely volunteer-based organization with the mission of maintaining and developing trails in the Maitland Valley for discovery and appreciation of the natural environment.
