Our story…

We are joining this years Hustle for the House to raise some money and awareness for the amazing support that the Ronald McDonald house has given to so many Alberta families over the years, including ours. Me and my brother were both quite sick when we were younger and living in Fort McMurray. Our family was blessed to be able to stay close to the hospital at the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton while we awaited more information and diagnosis. Our family being able to stay together and strong for each other was a huge part in our journey. We were both diagnosed with a genetic liver disease and have managed well over the last 25 years. We have made various contributions back to the house that was a safe place amidst fear and uncertainty. We got to take our own kids on a toy drop off and quick tour in 2011. It truly is an amazing place. Please support/join Team Rezko in our bike ride from Canmore-Banff for all the families who need our support now more than ever. Thank you RMHC!

RMHC Alberta is so excited to announce our very first virtual run! We are running and fundraising to support the families who need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.

In 2019, RMHC Alberta served families from 194 communities across Alberta. 

The Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat are not a nice to have; they are a must have. 1 in 4 Canadians knows someone who has needed to rely on a Ronald McDonald House. We are lacing up our shoes in support of those families, support us in our efforts to Hustle for the Houses!

We invite you to join us on this journey; as we go the distance to run, but need your help to go the distance for RMHC families who need your support now more than ever.
