The Dwelling Place

The Dwelling Place is a Christian ministry providing healing and hope to victims of domestic abuse through supportive services and a safe place to call home.  The Dwelling Place exists to break the generational cycle of abuse by creating safety and empowering women through the love of Jesus Christ so they can experience lasting freedom.  Through the use of four homes with a capacity of 57 beds, we provide transitional housing (12-18 months) for women and children.  The Dwelling Place is located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul north metro. 

Fundraising for The Dwelling Place makes a tremendous difference!  You set your personal/team fundraising goal and share it with friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors.  You run the race and you raise greater awareness because your goal provides supportive services and a safe place to call home for women and children for a day, a week, a month or a year (see table below.)  You make a difference that saves lives!

Your personal or team fundraising goal (example: $5000 = a month at The Dwelling Place for a woman and her family) will strengthen the lives of women and children to live free of abuse!
