Our story…

Sue was recently diagnosed with ACC. This was certainly a complete shock to our family, especially given how strong and healthy she had been leading into this. However, in typical Sue fashion, she has remained remarkably positive and optimistic throughout this entire ordeal. While there have been plenty of tears and many sleepless nights, she has largely smiled her way through countless doctors appointments and grueling radiation and chemotherapy treatment sessions. Her strength and composure throughout this process has provided a wonderful example to myself and our three beautiful daughters on how to react in the face of extreme adversity. This approach has not only been inspirational to all of us, but has also resulted in some creative nicknames/descriptions including "tiny, but mighty", "silent assassin", big dog, little body", "strong like Sue", "bourbon in a teacup", "Jersey strong", "studly Sue" and "little body, big fight" just to list a few.
