2020 QUARANTEAM virtual race supporting kids with cancer
Compass to Care’s BUBBLE FUN RUN will be back in 2021!
This year, we invite you to join our QUARANTEAM for Kids with Cancer virtual race!
Date: August 8, 2020
Time: You Choose
Location: Sidewalk, paths, your treadmill - make this race your own!
Distance: Our virtual run consists of 1K, 2K, 3K and 5K options for all ages and experience
Your QuaranTEAM: Family, Friends, Fido, Your Baby in Stroller - invite them all!
Register by July 24th to get your swag bag before race day!
Run or walk the distance you choose with the rest of the Quaranteam on August 8th (or no later than August 15th).
*Runners registered after July 24th may not receive t-shirt in their select size.
*Runners registered after July 27th will receive race shirt and medal as part of their swag package.
Have fun with your friends and family, and get some awesome swag while helping kids with cancer!

How does a virtual race it work?
- Choose your own run/walk distance: 1K, 2K, 3K, 5K.
- Register.
- Get ALL of the cool swag above delivered to your door.
- Complete your race on August 8th.
- Have fun! Get some exercise! And support kids with cancer.
- Last- don’t forget to upload your results and photos from your race to our website.
- Just for fun- post photos to your social media and tag us: @CompassToCare #quaranteam
While the decision to move this event to a virtual experience was difficult, we are confident that this approach allows us to deliver the best possible experience while keeping your family safe and active.

Become a FUN-raiser to help more kids with cancer
We need your help raising additional funds for kids with cancer. Though certainly not mandatory, we encourage each participant become a FUN-raiser by setting a personal fundraising goal to raise funds for our kids.

- $1,000 Fundraising Prize – Compass to Care Hoodie + Duffle Bag + Tumbler
After you register for the Compass to Care Quaranteam, a pledge page will automatically be created for you!

What's in the Swag Bag?
It is all about the swag! Each participant registered to join the Quaranteam will get a super stylish technical race shirt, a really cool drawstring bag, and your very own finisher medal to show off your awesomeness.
Packet Pick Up
We are giving individuals who live near the Edison Park neighborhood of Chicago an option to pick up their packets for the Quaranteam virtual race. Packet pick up will be held the week of August 3rd. Location will be set and participants will be notified. Social distancing will be strictly enforced and all individuals picking up race packets will be required to wear a face mask.
About Compass to Care
Compass to Care was founded in 2010 by Park Ridge, IL resident, Michelle Ernsdorff-My. When Michelle was just 14 months old she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Her parents struggled to pay for the travel expenses necessary to get her to cancer treatment. She founded Compass to Care, in her parents' honor, to help parents pay for the necessary travel expenses to get their children to cancer treatment.
Compass to Care has helped children with cancer travel over 2 million miles to access life-saving cancer treatment. By joining the Quaranteam, you will allow them to help even more.
