Our Story

I registered for Tiny to run Flutie5K this year to fund raise for VongTayChaMeViet (The Circle of Vietnamese parents). I hope you all can join Tiny's team to support VongTayChaMeViet. We are so thankful for the Flutie Foundation for providing technology support so that Tiny can participate in virtual learning during school closure, and especially for the funding for the Circle of VIetnamese parents to continue organizing ongoing weekly recreational activities including Music therapies, Dance Alive and Sensory Art. Our weekly social youth support group is also tremendously help Tiny with her social emotional needs. She can see her friends and connect with her friends as well as showcase some of the products she makes together with her friends. This is a way for us to give back to Flutie Foundation. Help our team reach our goal for Dougie's Epic Adventure: A Magical Flutie 5K, to raise critical funds for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism to help people and families affected by autism live life to the fullest! 


Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey. Over its 22-year history, the Flutie Foundation has distributed over $15 million to partner schools and organizations who provide clinical therapies, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, job supports and more for people and families affected by autism.The Flutie Foundation also provides direct financial support to families through initiatives like education technology tools, adaptive camp scholarships, safety equipment, to provide immediate help where it's needed the most.
