For the month of September 2020, the Brenda Strafford Centre will host its first Virtual Running / Walking Challenge to support women and children experiencing family violence in Alberta.

Set your personal goal and share your results online through the Runkeeper app. All participants will receive a customized printable bib to wear during runs and a certificate of completion. There will be exciting prizes for the top 10 fundraisers!

The event will give donors and friends of the Brenda Strafford Centre the opportunity to publicly take a stand against family violence. It will show that communities across the province are willing to stand together to make Alberta a safer place for everyone.

We have amazing prizes for our top three fundraisers!

First place - A Foursome pass. 18 holes and power carts at HeatherGlen Golf Club (value $325)

Second Place - An Intimate 4 course, 2 person dinner at Red Seal Dining (value $200)

Third place - A Spa package from RnR Wellness Spa (value $100)

The proceeds from the race will support the 350 women and children served by The Brenda Strafford Centre annually; funding essential programming such as: trauma informed counselling, childcare, community initiatives, outreach services and more.
