Q) What is a Virtual Turkey Trot?

A virtual race is one in which you can run, walk, jog or skip at your own pace from your own place. A turkey trot is the common name for a race on Thanksgiving morning. The biggest running day of the year. Together, a virtual turkey trot is the ideal way to get up and get moving before eating Thanksgiving dinner and still connect with friends and family that couldn’t get together this holiday season.

Q) Do I need a GPS watch or fancy equipment to participate in America’s Turkey Trot?

Nope! But if you have a smartphone you can download the EventApp with LiveTracking functionality to record your run and upload data in real time.

Q) What do I get for participating?

All participants will receive the America's Turkey Trot quarter zip pullover, custom 2020 race bib, finisher medal and shipping. Please note, shipping is included for domestic US addresses only.

Q) When do I need to run America’s Turkey Trot?

Thanksgiving, November 26, 2020. But with a virtual race if that date doesn’t work you can still participate. You can run when you want where you want!

Q) When will I get my gear?

For participants registered by November 13, 2020, participant gear will be mailed out the week of November 16, 2020. If you registered after November 13th your participant gear will be mailed on a rolling basis and we cannot guarantee you will receive it by Thanksgiving.
IMPORTANT: We can only ship within the United States.

Q) What’s the course?

That’s up to you! Pick your favorite local route, head to a park or run on the treadmill.
