IMPORTANT INFORMATION

General Safety Precautions

Due to COVID-19, please keep to small family groups and maintain six feet minimum space between other participants

Please run against traffic on the left hand side of the road and wear clothing that is visible to drivers.

If running the "Official Virtual Miles for Myles 2020" route, please run between the hours of 5:45 am and 11 pm as the start and finish is in front of LHS. School is in session and we recommend avoiding drop off (7:30 am - 8:30 am) and pick up times (2:00 pm - 3:00 pm). We recommend parking at the public library, near T.C. Passios, or in front or behind Town Hall. No parking on school grounds.

1 Mile Fun Run

This event is to encourage our youngest runners to participate in this great virtual event with their families!

Please find a safe 1 mile route close to home. We request that you stay off of school property, including the athletic fields and track because of COVID restrictions and school being back in session.

5K Run or Walk

This is a virtual event. You can run or walk it anywhere! We hope that you will share your results and photos with us through this website and on social media. A screenshot from Strava, Garmin Connect, Map My Run, or any other app can count as evidence of your achievement! The official route is listed on our website under "Event Details". The Runkeeper instructional email will be sent out to participants when they register. Click this LINK for the official Virtual Miles for Myles 2020 running route.

Here are some suggestions if you are out-of-town or short on time :)

- A treadmill!

- A safe loop in your neighborhood

- Local hiking or walking trails

Shirt Pick Up and Shipping Information

Shirt must be ordered by Saturday, October 3rd @ 11:59 pm EST - A drive-through pick up will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Memorial Drive located behind the Lunenburg Public Library. For best traffic flow, turn onto Memorial Drive off Main Street towards T.C. Passios. Please wear a mask.

If you selected a shirt to be shipped, your shirt will be shipped on October 10th.

Awards and Recognition

Participants will be emailed a virtual race bib when they register and custom certificates are generated once participants post their results.

Everyone that registers for Miles for Myles has a chance to win! This year we will be giving 2 lucky participants $50 selected at random.

10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
