AWARDS
As part of our COVID-19 safety precautions, the awards ceremony will look a little different this year. Following the Mule Kick 5K on October 23, there will NOT be an in-person awards ceremony.
After completing the 5K and/or 1-Mile Trot, we ask participants not to linger at the finish line or in the park. Race results and awards will be streamed later in the day at Facebook.com/MuleKick5K. Awards will be mailed to the winners the week following the race. For more information about other COVID-19 safety measures in place, click here.
5K Top Award Categories
- Overall: Top Male and Female Participants
- Masters (ages 40+): Top Male and Female Participants
- Super Grandmasters (ages 70+): Top Male and Female Participants
5K Age Divisions
The top three male and female participants in each of the following age groups will receive a medal. Awards will be mailed to the winners the week following the race.
The age groups include: 9 and under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70+.
1-Mile Trot Award Categories
The top three male and female finishers under the age of 12 will receive awards. (All 1-Mile Trot participants will receive a finisher ribbon upon completing the race.)
