I will be running in the 2021 Scotiabank Virtual 10K Race in the name of Technology for Living (TFL) and the people that TFL supports. I'm not really looking forward to running 10K in laps around my apartment but I'm doing it for a cause that is near and dear to me.
I've had the pleasure of working with TFL for just under two years and I've enjoyed every bit of it. TFL is a non-profit organization that aims to improve independence for physically disabled members of society in the home. Whether that be setting up smart devices that allow lights to be controlled with a simple spoken phrase or setting up an automatic door that opens with a push of a button, we are always striving to find new ways to increase autonomy in the home.
The money I raise will go towards funding the technology and support that we will provide to individuals in BC with physical disabilities such as muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and ALS, just to name a few.
Join myself and the team at TFL as we slowly pace our way through the 2021 Scotiabank Virtual Race. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated but even words of encouragement or sharing my fundraising page are more than welcome!
Again, I appreciate any support you send my way! I'll do my best to get the 10K done in under an hour but this COVID body is real. Love y'all!
