My Story…
I have worked with Dixon Transition Society over the past few years as a Women’s Support worker and have seen the impacts domestic violence has on women and children. We have recently lost funding for one on our essential roles that supports children within our programs. This year, all funds raised (100% of the proceeds!!) will go towards keeping the child support worker role at Dixon. I have made the decision to run 21km to help raise funds and awareness. My original goal was to meet $500 in donations and we have exceeded that already! Help me meet $1000, we’re almost there!!
Dixon Transition Society helps to reduce the impact of domestic violence by providing a safe place for women and children. We are raising funds to keep essential positions, such as the child support worker role, up and running. Addressing violence against women and children is the responsibility of a community as a whole.
Running 21km will not be easy, but raising awareness and donating is. Donate, share, and raise awareness today!
