Help Lisa raise money

Hi friends - I first met the committed team at North Shore Community Resources as a donor (Neptune Terminals), and later sat as a member of its board of directors for several years.

Every day the NSCR staff work to make a difference in the lives of kids & families, seniors & caregivers. They provide legal services, giving hope and protection to vulnerable people who have nowhere to turn. They advocate for affordable housing. They link volunteers with opportunities to serve. They provide information so people can navigate community services and they support young adults to plug into democratic processes. That’s a lot!

Because I believe in the work that the staff of NSCR do to make a difference in people’s lives, and in so doing contribute to building a thriving community, I’m participating in this year’s Scotiabank Charity Challenge. This takes place between June 2^nd and July 5^th when we race, walk, bike, dance, hike, or whatever gets you moving.

I've signed up to do both the 5K and 10K distance. I invite your donations to support and build upon what our NSCR staff do best – ensuring that those who come to them looking for help leave “better and happier”. While none of us can change the world alone, together we can make a tremendous difference in may lives. Thank you for your support.
