Help us raise money

We are teaming up to run in the Cleveland Virtual Marathon to fundraise for the Concussion Legacy Foundation (CLF). CLF is leading the fight against concussions and CTE, and we are proud to support their programs that are leading us to world without CTE and concussion safety without compromise. If you’d like to learn more, here is their annual report and the founder’s TED Talk and a Malcolm Gladwell podcast about their impact.

We’re competing in some friendly competition against Harvard, Yale, Brown, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, Notre Dame, Michigan and other schools to see who can raise the most funds. The losing captains will be forced to film themselves singing the winner’s fight song and CLF will post it to their social media accounts. Please help us avoid that fate by making a donation to one of our team members.

We are running to support Project Enlist, a program from CLF designed to serve as a catalyst for critical research on TBI, CTE, and PTSD in military Veterans. The scientific understanding of TBI and related disorders is still in its infancy, and we lack accurate diagnostic tests for living patients and effective treatments. I believe that brain bank research is vital to developing effective treatments for TBI, CTE, and PTSD, and I have pledged my own brain to the VA-BU-CLF Brain Bank to help support the important research being done there.
