My Story…
Hi Friends and Family,
This is our 12th year that Mary and I have hosted the Independence House Falmouth Road Race TEAM, and we have raised over $150,000 for Independence House. We hope you will help us meet our fund-raising goal this year for Independence House. Our TEAM includes long-time runners and newcomers, some who grew up in Falmouth, and others who visit Falmouth just to run the Falmouth Road Race. Independence House, Inc. works with nearly 10,000 Cape Cod residents each year facing the crisis of domestic and sexual violence. Covid-19 has made it even more difficult for the Cape's working families, as businesses closed, childcare became unavailable, and people were struggling with paying bills and working remotely if they could.
Independence House has four offices on the Cape, and our services are extensive. We have safe home accommodations; we work to assist survivors with court appearances, counseling, a 24/7 hotline, and many other services. Please join our TEAM.

Independence House, Inc. offers assistance to residents of all 15 towns on Cape Cod who are survivors, children of survivors, or non-offending family members of survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Independence House assistance is accessible at any of our four office locations; in all Cape Cod Probate and District Courts; at Falmouth Police Department; through numerous collaborations, and on the Independence House 24-hour uninterrupted hotline.
