Help Kevin raise money

For 36 years, Bay State Games has been my passion which has brought so many great memories and friendship for me and my family. For the first time ever, all Summer events were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID and there remains great uncertainty as to how many events we will hold in 2021.  The financial impact on the Bay State Games has been significant and we continue to look for ways to overcome these fiscal challenges.  

This year, the Bay State Games was accepted into the Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Non-Profit Program. A team of up to 12 members will raise funds to help support the Bay State Games through a run/walk event in August that will take place either live or virtually.

Last June, when COVID cancelled all events and I was left with little to do, I went for a one-mile walk for the first time in years. Ten months later, I have walked over 700 miles including several 10k’s and a half marathon. I plan on walking the Falmouth Road Race in August and have joined on as a member of the Bay State Gams Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Non Profit team. While my duties as a member of the Falmouth RR Organizing Committee will prevent me from walking on race day, I will complete the 7 mile course prior to the race.

While I have never reached out to my networks for something like this, I wanted to ask for your support as I try to reach my goal of raising $2,000 for the Bay State Games. All funds raised will go to support the Bay State Games sport and education programs including the Summer Games, Future Leaders Scholarship Program and our Adopt an Athlete program which provides opportunities for underprivileged participants.
