Help Nicole raise money

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for checking out my fundraising page!

To say I am excited to run the iconic Falmouth Road Race is a HUGE understatement!! Some of my best memories as a child were the times I spent on the Cape with my grandparents who lived in East Falmouth. Specifically... watching and cheering on the Falmouth Road Race runners was an absolute favorite of mine (especially team Hoyt!)! My grandparents used to tease me all the time about complaining about "being tired" on the walk to cheer on the runners.. as I sat on my Grandfathers shoulders most of the walk LOL.

I've ALWAYS wanted to come back to Falmouth and run this race, but as many know it's not an easy race to get a bib for! Thanks to my awesome coworkers at AHS I've been given the opportunity this year - which also happens to take place in August which will be the one year anniversary of the passing of my grandmother, Janet LaPrad. <3

Not only do I get to run the race in memory of her, but I also get to represent and raise funds for an organization that's incredibly near and dear to my heart: the Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation. This organization honors the life of Major David Brodeur by working collaboratively with the students of the Auburn Public Schools (where I teach!) and provides grants in the areas of community service, leadership, and education as well as scholarships to graduating seniors.

It will be an incredibly emotional race for me, that's for sure! <3 <3
