Help Lesley raise money

For participating in The 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

Hello, friends!

Welcome to my fundraising page for the Falmouth Road Race which I am running on August 15th (virtually or in person depending on public health metrics)! This is my first year running what I have heard is one of the most spectacular courses and I am honored to be a part of the Team ALS to raise funds for the fight against this heart breaking disease

I was fortunate to join Team ALS through my good friend  and fellow participant Todd Liming whose father George is battling this disease. ALS, as you may know, is also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. There is no cure for ALS and there is much work to be done to learn about this disease and to make advancements in the treatment and cure of the same.

My family has never been impacted by ALS but, like so many, we are no strangers to the heartbreaking impact of chronic diseases. So while I will be running for ALS, George, and the many who suffer from this disease, I will be keeping my own mother Annie Delaney in my heart.

Please donate whatever you can. Even $1 makes a difference! And if you can't donate, please help spread the word!

If you see me shuffling around Dot or Southie *trying* to get back into running shape for this race please feel free to honk. I know what I look like running and it isn't pretty.

Best,

Les
